Calling "Barbarella" a "campy film" is to be polite about it. Starring Jane Fonda, this 1968 movie came out in the same year "2001: A Space Odyssey" was released; whereas the latter is a sci-fi masterpiece, the former only manages to secure a spot in late-night cult showcases.
