Colorado Kayak Excursion 2006 with the Academy of Huge Experiences. Twelve teenage kayakers, lead by two instructors roamed the rockies on a playboating tour during June and July.

Here Alex Mohn explains all the freestyle kayaking moves that can be done in a hole. We were at the play park in Salida CO doing all sorts of moves. Alex did some mind blowing combo moves, which he explains.
The US National Whitewater Center is located in Charlotte, North Carolina. The rapids are broken into two main channels - the race, "competition" channel and the "wilderness," freestyle channel. Rapids range in difficulty from Class I up to Class IV. This video is a paddlers perspective of running the two channels. Enjoy.
Basically, Chris Gragtmans saves the state of Colorado from not having any of its waterfalls run this year. It was a close call and everyone is glad that he showed up.

This year at the North Alabama Whitewater Festival (NAWF) Riot unveiled their Karaoke Tour which was a huge hit. The video shows team Riot and some other folks competing at the events and then the Karaoke madness that ensued at the fest.
The Potomac Festival happens every summer at Great Falls of the Potomac River in MD/VA, close to Washington DC. This kayaking was done at the 2007 Great Falls Race and Festival, and it is amazing.

Here in the summer of 2007 we kayakers in the Southeastern US have had little or no rain to speak of. There was one time toward the end of July when it did rain cats and dogs and a group of us were lucky enough to get on Linville Gorge. It was fantastic.
