My first experience going on a cruise. I was a little nervous going because it is not necessarily my style of travel. The fact that I had only six or eight hours on each island drove me nuts. However, it still exceeded my expectations, and I just promised myself to come back to the islands that called to me to spend the proper time getting to know them. So here is our first port.
When I saw this group gathering I knew something fishy was going on. I didn't know exactly what was going to happen, but they kept telling the camera that someone was going to die, and that the last group that attempted this almost got arrested. I witnessed them disconnecting the phone line, so I just left my camera rolling and did my best to document the event.
Here is the compilation of Jasen Wade's work of 2009 (and a few oldies, but goodies). You can contact Jasen Wade here on YouTube or contact his representation:

I can't express my gratitude enough to all the volunteers this year. What an amazing event. It turned out beyond my own expectations. The neighbors loved it and we had a good amount of people walk through it. It was a huge success because of you all. Thank you.
If you need a break put the headphones on and escaped with this video. These photos were taken all over the country while fighting fires or traveling. It puts me at ease when my life gets hectic, so I thought I would post it for anyone who cared for a bit of peace to their day.
Avelino!!!! This is for you. Can't believe I only had 2 days to do this. Please don't judge too harshly=) Actually, I am happy with how it turned out given all the unaccommodating circumstances.
Venture through the backcountry of some of the nation's most remote national parks, or visit the unique celebration of Ground Hog Day in Punxsutawny, PA; Rappel into Northern California's Moaning Cavern or spend a day on the fireline of some of the nation's most threatening wildfires. These are just a few glimpses into the adventures to come!!
This is a compilation of some of the footage from the Fillmore Wildland Firefighting Team: Fire Season 2008. Most of the footage is my own, but thanks to Beebz, Johnson and Ivie I was able to fill in the gaps.
There is an amazing slurry drop at the end of this video.
The music: from the Motion Picture Soundrack: THE ISLAND - Steve Jablonsky
Our Hand Crew was dispatched to the Ashley National Forest. After the fire was contained we were given a new mission: clear out the forest, cut dead and down 120 feet in from the road. It was a lot of work, but a lot more fun.
I love this celebration: Ground Hog Day. This is the second year Mark and I have covered this soiree. Shot and Edited by Mark Houser, www.ikonphotography. com
There is more to come. Keep your eyes out this Summer as I go back to my job of wildland firefighting and sneak a camera on the front lines of all the action.
We were all home to see the parents and Jarem mentioned he had his three long boards with him. We had a Durango, Ski Rope and a course mapped out that covered the entire neighborhood. Mel had the camera, Mike was driving and Jay, Jarem and I were the guinea pigs.
A near death involving a can of fermented Slim Fast. We were starving and the only substance this small store had was a couple of Slim Fasts and mine was rotten.
Here is an adventurous tour of Moaning Caverns in Northern California. Dagen and I headed out to film some footage for a hosting reel I am putting together for Discovery Channel, and this is what we came up with so far.

This commercial was lost for years. I just found it in a box of DVD's and here it is for your entertainment. My friend Sam and his crew were at the Pasadena Arts Center and needed my help with a class project. Not bad for an afternoon of fooling around with the camera. They later fixed the horrible graphics, but never sent me an updated copy. Damn them!!
You better pay attention at the very beginning or you will miss my brief celebrity moment with Beastmaster 3's Sandra Hess.
Oh... the drudgery of commercial work =)
Another fun little scene from our movie Dead West. In this scene Johnny's girlfriend has been infected by the main vamp and now is wreaking havoc. They must be stopped before the infection spreads.
